Spencer has been involved in various aspects of real estate for 15 years. After graduating from Brigham Young University in 2002, he spent a number of years working in multifamily real estate brokerage and property management in Los Angeles.
Through this experience, he developed a deep understanding of apartments, contracts, transaction management, investment strategies, and financing structures. In 2008, he attended Arizona State University, obtaining an MBA with specializations in real estate and finance. In 2010, he transitioned into a career in corporate real estate, further developing his contract negotiation and asset/portfolio management skills. While in this field, he spent time acquiring and negotiating office leasehold rights, overseeing contractors and architects in office design/construction projects, and also held a role in facility management. During that time, he obtained a second master’s degree, an MS in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver. His interest in multifamily investments has never diminished, and he counts himself blessed to be involved with his partners at AIC.
